Great replacement fenders! Much stronger than stock ones. Cool design, looks awesome. Little difficult to put on, some bolts were hard to get to and came with no cutting template. Had to call Smittybuilt, They quickly e-mailed one. We Love Smittybuilt!!!!We have purchased many of there other products too(front and rear bumpers,etc.)and love them them all!

Looks great, very sturdy!

I love my new front fenders!!! They look amazing on my Jeep, and gave me a whole lot of tire clearance! The install was very dificult though, and the factory fenders have to be cut apart to install these. I didn't mind cutting up my factory fenders, but it would've been nice if I had known that before I purchased them. Maybe that fact is listed somewhere in the product description, but I don't remember seeing it when I purchased these... I was extremely dissapointed in the way these were packaged and shipped to me though, the box I recieved looked like it had been through a war, there were holes all over it, it was crushed, and mangled. When I opened it up I found that the fenders were just wrapped in very thin bubble wrap, and then dropped into the box with no padding whatsoever. There was nothing to prevent them from shifting around, and I'm really suprised that they survived the shipping. One of them was slightly bent, but when I bolted it on my Jeep the force of tight ening the bolts up straightened the slight bend out to where it's not noticable. I give 5 stars on the actuall fenders and the great looks, 3 stars on the install difficulty, and 1 star on the packaging. The fact that I had to chop up my factory fenders to use these is probably my fault for not doing enough research, but I think it should be made a little more clear in the description.

Cheaper alternative to true hylines...

Honestly I like them. I am fully aware about how some folks feel about "S***tybilt", but I think these will work for my wheeling. The tube is about 1 3/4" thick, but given the weight of these I don't think they can take any kind of impact, due to what they mount to. Issues I have are how they mount the top portion mounts to thin piece of sheet metal that's left over from triming the fender. Also, mounting the lower portion was a POA, but do-able. The stainless steel hardware on black like this, especially in the wheel well annoys me, but some people are into that.
Also, I was under the impression that these replace the whole wheel well and fender, but they do not. I strongly advise reading the directions before buying to see if you want fenders that mount like these. I think that is why Smittybilt's product photo only shows the back of them.
